As for jillij-double, here is a new version with comments now with avatars and background color tunable.

Jillij is a great theme. There’s is an issue with 2.8 however. It breaks text widgets and makes un-editable, showing no options available. The only workaround I’ve found is to activate the default theme, change the text widget content and then re activate jillij.
Hope there’s a fox for this soon. Keep up the good work… Gav
