• Photon doesn’t work under EasyPHP?
  • Photon require cURL, a php library which is installed on most server. However it is not on EasyPHP. To make it works, it is hovewer very easy. Just click on EasyPHP menu->Configuration->Extensions/modules and click on php_curl.
• My pictures with a higher resolution overflow the frame of my theme. Can I resize them automatically?
  • Yes, to do that, just go into phpwebgallery admin menu and give a maximum width in “default display” (for default and for the users parameters). Choose a width that suits your theme and them do a database maintenance and synchronize additionnal informations on your pictures to update the width value.
• I have drop-down categories, it doesn’t seem to include the menu into my theme?
  • Sorry, I did my best but, for now, photon can’t work with drop down category list. You will have to change your theme.

Hi guys,
Sorry to make you wait for that but as promised, I have finished correcting photon for wordpress 2.1. You can see it in action in photondemo.free.fr (my website is waiting for the others plugins to be updated, mainly xdforum).
I fixed quite a big bug in long term connection (that’s the reason why it was still beta, it took me some time to find the fix).
If you experience problems accessing your website with photon, I advise you to delete your website cookies and reconnect.
I will do the packaging in the next days.

Also soon there will be a bugtracker which should help me not forget anyone (if anyone know a way to integrate mantis with wordpress, I am interested…).

Here it is, photon version 4.0. Quite a number of bug corrections. Thanks to all the beta testors. I am going on holidays soon. So if you need support, try to use the forum and share knowledge

I have corrected the sub-category problem under Mozilla.
I had to modufy a little more of the code. Please follow the instructions in the INSTALL file

About the Internet Explorer crashes, I have contacted the programmer of my Javascript Applet. I hope I can solve the problem soon…
