Good day!
Help me, please =)
I’ve installed Photon 4.1 on WordPress 2.1, Phpwebgallery 1.6.2
After filling up options (yes, i’ve checked path to gallery ten times or so…) i get message in admin panel of WP : “Options saved.” (without any errors)
But, when I look at my WP main page, in my sidebar all I can see is error “Gallery server down”, instead of displaying photos, categories etc…

URL of gallery - http://urix.ru/phpwebgallery-1.6.2/

Hi,
You need to activate photon template in phpwebgallery. From you page I don’t think it is. Just follow readme file procedure, it is a simple few steps install.

I’ve activated it… deactivated, deleted, uploaded again, activated… no changes.
I’d never bother you if I didn’t all I can

If I deactivate Photon, the “Gallery” section of sidebar does not show!
So, plugin is active, but it can’t connect to phpwebgallery

Well, I meant did you read the readme file provided in the zip? I think that is the problem.

Ooookay, I’ve found solution.
My wrong step was importing users from phpwg to WP.
It was because of not clean installation Photon in WP.
I was installing Photon in WP database already containing users from previuos Photon installations.
So, if don’t import users - everything works fine.
Now I’m working at translation Photon (and phpwg) to Russian
