I've got a few errors after upgrading from 3.1.

I upgraded phpwebgallery to 1.6.1 at the same time but it all seems to have gone a bit wrong…

Has anyone got an idea what is causing them?

Cheers,

John.

Errors…

getting an error when implimenting the jillij theme in phpwebgallery

Warning: getimagesize(template/photon/icon/recent.png): failed to open stream: No such file or directory in /home/www/johnandkiwi.com/phpwebgallery/include/functions_html.inc.php on line 67

it should be looking in the photon4 directory…

At the ramdom picture part…

First, I think you should have a look at the readme file for installation.
The system is quite different from Photon 3.1 (and also a lot more robust and powerfull).
It seems that you didn't follow this instructions.

You need to use photon template in phpwebgallery.

Hi Jillij,

Aye, i followed the readme but have hit problems on the way…

The phpwebgallery install is fresh, i installed it from scratch, but the photon template cannot be used without this error coming up…

Warning: getimagesize(template/photon/icon/recent.png): failed to open stream: No such file or directory in /home/www/johnandkiwi.com/phpwebgallery/include/functions_html.inc.php on line 67

I can see its looking for the wrong directory but i dont know why…

I also went throught the readme for 3.1 and reversed the modifications to the wordpress install.

The file is the zip I give. Maybe the file was corrupted during upload.

Could you try again to upload the icon folder in the template?

Does the template works under phpwebgallery alone (and not wordpress)?

Normally, It should.

Do you have a link?

When I look at your website, photon template is not activated (maybe you came back to default template).

i've re-uploaded the photon elements but no success.

phphwebgallery will not go into the photon template without error, it works fine in the normal template.

http://www.johnandkiwi.com/phpwebgallery/index.php

The error message is missing the ico file but it is looking in the /photon/ directory when it should now be the /photon4/ directory.

You can't rename template like that under phpwebgallery.

photon4 won't work . It has to be photon and not photon4.

oh crap, i thought it came like that!

I must have changed it at some point, thanks jillij.

but its still not integrating…photon is enabled in the plugins page… and I cacnt think of anything else stupid i could have done to stop it.

It can be a lot of things.

Did you fill in the options photon page?

I have looked at your website. And photon template is not activated in phpwebgallery. Did you activate it for default template AND users?

Sorry Jillij, it was a problem with the phpwebgallery template.

On my way to having it back up and running.

Thanks for the help and keep up the good work ;)

John.

Hi again Jillij…

The new photon is great, i love it!

I just have one more little problem… my footer is way our of line.

http://www.johnandkiwi.com

I tried disabling plugins, including photon, but it was still out of line.

I tried a few different themes too, on some it looked fine and on others it was out of line like the jillij theme.

It is the same in IE7 and firefox.

I also noticed other sites using photon 4 and the jillij theme still have 3 random pictures at the top, whereas mine just has the one, could that be connected to it?

Any theories?

Much appreciated,

John.

I have already seen such an error. Last time, there was a div in one of my posts which was not closed properly.

Thanks for identifying the problem!

I edited the post and removed the picture (it was the only thing in there which was using the "div" tag)

but that doesnt seem to have fixed it, where is this offending tag?!

many thanks,

John.
