I adore the Jillij theme, but it doesn't seem to be fully compatible with WordPress 2.8.5.  The text widget doesn't work.  Instead of accepting content the widget states, “There are no options for this widget”. 

I've verified that this is a problem with Jillij by changing themes.  With other themes the widget works with no problems.

As a work-around I've removed the code relating to the text-widget from the functions.php file.  However, I'm not sure if that might have unintended consequences.  Is there a better way to handle this?
