Well, after burning myself cooking today, I decided to go back to my geeky habits.
So here is a new version of my theme for wordpress : jillij v10

No change at all in the look ( I still have in the back of my mind to include an optional sidebar on the right, but we’ll see later…), but I have developed a new widget called “Multi-pages”.

Indeed, a lot of people came to me asking for an easy way to add simple links to pages in the menu.
Like :

Page1 Page2 Categories Meta

And since I kind of needed it too…

So now you’ll find in your Widget section a new Multi-pages box (up to 9 boxes, yes!) .
You can select subpages, exclude, give a title… It’s like the usual Pages widget but more sophisticated

I plan to release the widget as an independent one but for the moment it’s only included in my theme…

A new release for my theme is there.
V9.0 includes a system to quickly change the header image in the theme option menu (no more code editing) and a lot of fixes. There is no need for an Internet Explorer specific CSS which means the code is a lot cleaner (and simpler ). I have also fixed some widget related problems

I have been quite busy the last weeks and I knew that the website had problems ( and particularly the forum ).

I have fixed it now. I have moved jillij.com to new multilangual system which seems more frequently updated than my previous one. It is gengo . The website is now upgraded to wordpress last version and I moved also the website structure to permalinks.

I plan to release a new version of photon soon whch will include all the bugfixes I did for my website and also introduce permalinks into photon. It will be the last release before phpwebgallery swith to 1.7.

The version for phpwebgallery 1.7 will use a new XML service from phpwebgallery which should allow faster code.

Hi guys,
Sorry to make you wait for that but as promised, I have finished correcting photon for wordpress 2.1. You can see it in action in photondemo.free.fr (my website is waiting for the others plugins to be updated, mainly xdforum).
I fixed quite a big bug in long term connection (that’s the reason why it was still beta, it took me some time to find the fix).
If you experience problems accessing your website with photon, I advise you to delete your website cookies and reconnect.
I will do the packaging in the next days.

Also soon there will be a bugtracker which should help me not forget anyone (if anyone know a way to integrate mantis with wordpress, I am interested…).
